This institute, which is working under the Ministry of Tourism of Indian Government is specially meant for offering tourism and travel management courses and this institute is having its main campus in the city of Gwalior and branches at Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Goa and Nellore as well.

About the course:

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a programme of Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management and this course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. The course is equivalent to MBA and this course focuses on management of travel and tourism.

Eligibility requirement:

Candidates seeking admission to the course will have to possess UG Degree in any discipline securing not less than 50% of aggregate marks from a recognized university. Marks required for reserved category candidates is 45% of aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

Admission:

Admission of students to the PGDM (Tourism and Travel) is done through an admission process with a value of 100 points. As far as weightage for admission is concerned, 70% weightage is given to performance of candidates in centralized All India Admission Test, while 30% weightage is offered to personal interview and Group discussion with each carrying 15% respectively. The intake capacity of the institution for this course is 60 students per year and there will be reservation for PH/SC/ST candidates according to the rules of Indian Government.
