Abhaya College of Nursing was established by Abhaya Group of institutions with the aim of offering, both practical and theoretical knowledge in different nursing situations. The courses offered by Abhaya College of Nursing are affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Indian Nursing Council has approved the courses. The courses are also approved by the Karnataka State Nursing Council.

Extra-curricular in the college:

Abhaya College of Nursing is aiming at keeping the students both physically and mentally active. Keeping in view the physical fitness of the students, the college is encouraging the students to take part in different sports and games. For this purpose, the college is provided with a huge playground and facilities to play games like athletics, kho-kho, tennis, skipping, discuss throw, shuttle cock, volleyball and throw ball. Several cultural activities are also conducted by the college to ensure overall development of the students. The college is also offering opportunities to the students to participate in a number of local, state, national and international lever professional symposiums, workshops, seminars, etc…

Community health participation of the college:

As a service to the mankind the students of the college are encouraged to organize and participate in celebrations during occasions like breast feeding week, AIDS/HIV day, world cancer day, nurses day, world health day, republic day and independence day.
