Achariya Arts & Science College came into existence in the year 2004 and the college was established by the Achariya Educational Public Trust. The college is offering education with affiliation from the Pondicherry University and right from its inception, the institution has been earning a great support from its students and staff members. Eligibility requirements:

Eligibility requirements for different courses offered by the Achariya Arts & Science College are given below:

• For BBA, B. Com (Corporate Secretaryship) admission, candidates must have completed their higher secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized institution

• For B. Com admission, candidates must have completed their higher secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized institution with accountancy as a subject

• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, candidates must have completed their higher secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized institution with mathematics as a subject (Business mathematics is not accepted)

• For B. Sc Physics & Chemistry, candidates must have completed their higher secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized institution with chemistry, mathematics and physics

• For B. Sc Biochemistry, candidates must have completed their higher secondary or equivalent examination with biochemistry/microbiology/nursing/biology/chemistry/zoology/botany/physics as one of the subjects

• For B. Sc Microbiology, candidates must have completed their higher secondary or equivalent examination with Biology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry or Botany and Zoology

Admission Procedure:

For UG courses, candidates are selected through personal interview, while for PG courses, admission of students is done based on their performance in the entrance examination conducted by the institution.
