Rajasthan Public Service Commission was established in the year 1949 after the LEE Commission recommended to set up a Central Public Service Commission in the country. The commission is actually located at Ajmer. It consists of a Chairman and two other members. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulation, 1951 and The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (Limitation of Functions) Regulation, 1951 were the two regulation announced under the provisions of Constitution of India. The appointments of the Chairman and the members of the commission are strictly made by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

Applications are invited from eligible individuals for applying on the following positions of Agriculture Officer, Assistant Research Officer, Assistant Agriculture Research Officer, Inspectors of Boilers and Factories. The position of Assistant Research Officer is available in the field of Agronomy and Agriculture Chemistry. The position of Assistant Agriculture Research Officer is available in the field of Entomology and Agriculture Chemistry.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with the Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 250 is need to be submitted by General category candidates. OBC category candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 150 only. The amount of application fee that is need to be paid by SC/ST categories candidates, is Rs. 50 only.

How to apply: Only online applications will be accepted by the commission. Interested as well as eligible candidates are required to apply online only at RSPC website and that too on or before 20 June 2011. Candidates should retain the printout of completed application form for future reference.
