Amrita School of Business 2010 MBA
Amrita School of Business conducts an admission process for its two year MBA program. Amrita School of Business was established by Amrita Viswa Vidyapeetham University in 1996 at Coimbatore. From 2009 it has started offering MBA programs at its Amritapuri,Cochi and Bengaluru campuses as well. Amrita School of Business is part of Amrita University which is a UGC recognised autonomous university. It is considered to be among the reputed institutes for management education in India. Amrita School of Business offers its students the best placement opportunities and a very good infrastructure for management education.
Candidates are shortlisted for MBA program of Amrita School of Business on the basis of their CAT scores while NRIs and Foreign students have to appear in GMAT for the admission. Therefore for admission in MBA program of Amrita School of Business candidates have to compulsorily appear for CAT/GMAT. The candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in CAT/GMAT have to appear in a further selection process consisting of a Personal Interview after which the final selections are made.
Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised institute with atleast 50% marks in 10th, 12th and Graduation. Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.

Selection process:
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT scores. Foreign/NRI candidates can apply through GMAT with a minimum score of 550 in GMAT to be considered for interview. The shortlisted candidates are then called for further selection process consisting of Personal Interview. Final selection is based on candidate’s performance in CAT/GMAT, Personal Interview, Past Academic Performance and Work Experience.
