Structure of Anna university M.Sc Applied Mathematics Entrance Exam

The entrance exam will be objective in nature. There will be four alternative answers for each question. The total number of questions in M.Sc Applied Mathematics Entrance Exam will be 100. There is negative marking for each wrong answer. For each correct answer one mark will be awarded. For each wrong answer ¼ marks will be deducted. There will be no deduction for unanswered questions. The questions with multiple shading will be considered as wrong answer and ¼ marks will be deducted.

The candidate can obtain the application form together with instructions and information about the exam from the Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai -600025. The application form can be downloaded from the official site of Anna university http://www.annauniv.edu.  The applicant has to send in the filled application form to the Director (Admissions), Anna University Chennai, Chennai 600 025 so as to reach him on or before the last date of submission. The candidate must enclose a demand draft of Rs.600/- drawn in favor of The Director (Admissions), Anna University Chennai, payable at Chennai from any nationalized bank.

How to fill the Form?

The candidate should provide all the information correctly in the application form. The applicant should enter the name, father’s name as provided in the higher secondary school certificate. The candidate should take utmost care and fill in the form personally. The address provided by the applicant will be used for all further communication. So the candidate should provide all the details in the communication address. The candidate should enter the bank draft details and bank details carefully referring with the draft. The candidate should cross check all the entries in the application form and fill in all the details asked.
