Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited often conducts Management Trainee exams for B.E/B.Tech holders and MBA graduates. Applications for the test must be submitted only via online method. Application form can be collected from the official web portal of BPCL. Candidate should be aware on different aspects related to fee payment, application form filling, application submission, etc.

Pre-requisites for Application

Before starting the application process, candidate should meet certain pre-requisites. First requirement is that the applicant must possess valid e-mail id. Validity of this e-mail-id should last at least one year from the date of application.

Application fee must also be paid before application process. It amounts to Rs. 400/- for candidates belonging to general and OBC category. SC/ST/and PWD candidates are free from payment of fees.

Fee must be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited’. DD taken from any nationalized banks must be payable at Mumbai also. No other mode of payment other than DD will be accepted. Likewise, DD payable at any other locations, other than Mumbai will not be acceptable.

A DD copy can be retained, that can be useful for future reference.

Steps in Application Process

Application process must be carried out in a step by step manner. Steps to the followed in the application process are mentioned here.

• Visit the official website of BHCL. Select the concerned link for careers
• In the web page for careers, select the link for current job openings. Here one can find the advertisement details regarding the job. After reading the job notification thoroughly, candidate can start with the application process.
• In the online application form, there will be columns to enter the educational qualifications, communication address, fee payment details, etc. After filling the application form with relevant details, it must me rechecked for conformation. If all details entered are found correct, candidate can submit the application form.
• Registered candidates should take the print out of the soft copy of the application form submitted. Paste a recent photograph on this printed copy.  This must be send be to the address of BPCL before last date. DD, Caste Certificate (if applicable), etc must be sent along with the printed application form. Name and registration number of the candidate should be mentioned at the back side of the DD.

Applicants who are shortlisted to write the exam will be intimated on the date of written exam via e-mail. Admit cards must be downloaded from the website of BPCL. Registration number and password/date of birth must be entered for downloading hall ticket.
