Application procedure for Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE)

Odisha Joint Entrance Exam is conducted for selecting candidates to various UG and PG level courses in medical and technical streams. Application for the exam can be submitted either through online or postal method. There is also provision to collect and submit the application through main post offices and banks of Odisha. Counseling fee of Rs.450/- must be submitted along with the application form.

Obtaining Application Form

Application forms can be obtained via the official web portal of OJEE, www.odishajee.com.  It can also be collected through certain Banks and post offices.

Counseling Fee

Candidates have to pay a counseling fee of Rs. 450/-. The fee must be paid through an Account Payee demand draft. Demand draft must be taken in favor of ‘OJEE’ payable at Bhubaneswar. Those who are seeking admission under any other national level entrance test like GATE/CAT should pay an additional amount of Rs. 500/-.

Instructions to be followed while filling the application form

  • Top portion of the application form will be in OMR format. This portion must be filled up using HB pencil or ball point pen only. Candidate should ensure that the circles in OMR sheet are darkened appropriately so as to avoid processing error.
  • Applicant should not scribble, fold, tear, or wrinkle the application form in any case. Stapling the application form is also not allowed.
  • Recent photographs, not older than two months must be affixed along with the application form.
  • Communication address as well the mailing address must be mentioned clearly.
  • Information like examination center, caste category, reservation, etc must be quoted with care. Such information can’t be changed under any circumstances.
  • Application form must be complete in all respects. Applications filled with any other language other than English will be rejected.
  • An acknowledgement card must be send along with the application form. Acknowledgement card must be send with the filled communication address and a postal stamp of Rs. 10/- affixed on it.
  • Application forms must be submitted only after taking a Photostat copy of the same for future reference.

Submission of Application form

Filled up application form can also be submitted through the banks and post offices. It can also be submitted through Registered post or Speed post to the address of JEE cell. Candidate can’t submit applications to the office of JEE cell by hand. Once the application has reached the destination, candidate will be send an acknowledgement card. Application status can also be checked through the official portal of OJEE. Online method of application submission is also possible.
