The Army Institute of Fashion & Design was started with a mission to provide quality education and professional education in the field of fashion designing and apparel Management. The institute began in 2004 and is affiliated to the Bangalore University. It is founded by Army Welfare Education Society which is amongst the well known education society of southern India. The institute has excellent records over the years and has earned a well reputed place in this short period of time.
Campus:
The institute spreads over the greenish area covering about 5 acres and provides excellent campus features for its students. It also provides well furnished classrooms and separate hostel facilities for boys and girls
Courses Offered:
The Army Institute of Fashion & Design offers various Bachelors and Masters Courses to the aspirants. Presently it offers courses like B.Sc (Fashion and Apparel Design), PG Diploma in Fashion Design, PG Diploma in Apparel Merchandising and Logistics Management etc.
Admission Procedure:
The candidates appearing for bachelor level courses have to appear for a written admission test on 20th April, 2010 and those who appeared for the postgraduate courses have to attend creative aptitude test and an interview.

The students are placed in various top fashion consulting houses that are renowned at national and international standard.
