Profile:

The Rubber Board was constituted by the Government of India as a statuary body. The board was established under the Rubber Act, 1947. The major objective behind the establishment of this board was to look out for the overall development of the rubber industry in the country. The Rubber Research Institute of India is located at Kottayam with a central experiemental station attached to it. Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, Biotechnology, Botany , Exploitation Studies, Plant Pathology, Plant Physiology, Rubber Technology and Technical Consultancy are the major divisions of the institute. One of the important function of the board is to advise the Central Government on all matters relating to the development of the rubber industry.

Job Profile:

Interested and eligible candidates are requested to apply on the posts of Assistant Director, Junior Engineer, Instrument Technician and Stenographer in The Rubber Board:

1. Recruitment of Assistant Director (Labour Management):
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations or Master’s degree in Business Administraion or Social Wroks.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

The place of positing for the selected candidates on the post of Assistant Director (Labour Management) is Kerala.

2. Recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil):
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 30 years.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

The place of positing for the selected candidates on the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) is North Eastern Region.

3. Recruitment of Instrument Technician (Electronics):
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Physics or Diploma in Engineering in the field of Electronice or Instrumentation or Instrument Technology.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

The place of positing for the selected candidates on the post of Instrument Technician (Electronics) is North Eastern Region.

4. Recruitment of Stenographer:
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: 12th passed or equivalent from recognized board with a shorthand speed of 80 words per minute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

Selection Process:

The Rubber Board will conduct a Walk-In-Interview for making selection of the candidates on the above specified posts. Only qualified candidates of this interview will be termed as the selected ones by The Rubber Board.
