Punjab State Transport Society is an organization which comes under the administrative control of Government of Punjab which in truns comes under Government of India. The transport department of Punjab actually came into existence for the enforcement of the provisions of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and Punjab Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1924. The transport department of punjab is headed by none other than the State Transport Commissioner. The Pubjab State Transport Society mainly aims to look after in the field of transportation in the state of Punjab.

Job Profile:

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following positions of Assistant Manager Finance, Accountant, Data Entry Operators/ Assistants, Project Coordinator and Data Entry Operators in Punjab State Transport Society. Candidates will be recruited purely on contract basis only.

1. Recruitment of Assistant Manager Finance:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 40 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done C.A. (Inter) from a recognized institute with atleast 10 years experience in relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 30000 per month.

2. Recruitment of Accountant:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 30 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done B.Com with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute and should also possess atleast 5 years experience in relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 9000 per month.

3. Recruitment of Data Entry Operators/Assistants:
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 30 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done B.C.A. with atleast 60% maks in aggregate from a recognized institute. Candidates should also have atleast 2 years experience in relevant field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 6500 per month.

4. Recruitment of Project Coordinator:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 30 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done MBA with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute. Atleast 5 years experience in relevant field is also need to be possessed by the candidates.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 30000 per month.

5. Recruitment of Data Entry Operators (one for each district):
No. of posts: Only 20 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 30 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done B.C.A. with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute. Atleast 2 years experience in relevant field is also required for the post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 6500 per month.

Candidates are also required to submit the amount of application fee that will be mentioned on the acknowledgement slip (it will be alloted to the candidates after their successfull registration). The amount of application fee is need to be deposited by the candidates in the CDAC Mohali Application Fee Account, Current Account No. 911020028486199 (Axis Bank).
