Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology is a premier research and education institution in India. The university was established under the Government of India. The university is mainly responsible for performing research and education activities in the field of Agriculture. The university initially started off as a small school. The university actually came into existence as a result of the merging of its two constituent colleges named Government Agriculture College, Kanpur and U.P. College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Mathura.

Applications are invited on prescribed format from eligible and well qualified candidates for filling up the vacant faculty positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology. The posts of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor is available in different fields or disciplines.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates should have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit set for the specified posts. Candidates should also have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit. In case, candidates are having age more than the maximum age limit, their applications will be summarily rejected by the university. Reserved categories candidates may get relaxation in the upper age limit.

Educational Qualification:

Associate Professor: Ph.D. degree in the concerned discpline with atleast 8 years of experience in teaching or research field.

Assistant Professor: Master’s degree in the concerned discpline from any recognized university. Candidates should also have cleared the National Eligibility Test.

Pay Scale:

Associate Professor: Rs. 37400-67000 witha Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.
Assistant Professor: Rs. 15600-39100 witha Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Application Fee:

Rs. 1000 is the amount of application fee for General and OBC categories candidates. However, SC/ST/PH candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 500. Candidates should submit the application form in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Comtroller, CSAUAT, Kanpur payable at SBi CSAU Branch, Kanpur.
