Indian Institute of Technology (Indore) was founded in the year 2009 under the Government of India. The institute is locate or situated in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The institute is famous for being an autonomous engineering and technology institute established by the Government of India. Indian Institute of Technology is going to recruit outstanding and highly motivated Indian Nationals for the faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professorb and Assistant Professor in various disciplines. The posts of Assistant Professor are available on both regular as well as contractual basis. All the faculty positions are available in the disciplines of Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Interdisciplinary Areas, English, Economics, Philosphy, Psychology, Sociology and French.

1. Recruitment of Professor:
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10500.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with minimum 60% mark in aggregate or equivalent at the preceeding degree in the concerned branch. Minimum 10 years of expeirnce in the field of teaching or reserach is also required alongwith a good academic record throughout.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10500.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9500.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with minimum 60% mark in aggregate or equivalent at the preceeding degree in the concerned branch. Minimum 6 years of expeirnce in the field of teaching or reserach is also required alongwith a good academic record throughout.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9500.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with minimum 60% mark in aggregate or equivalent at the preceeding degree in the concerned branch. Minimum 3 years post Ph.D. expeirnce is also required alongwith a good academic record throughout.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.

4. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (on Contract):
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with minimum 60% mark in aggregate or equivalent at the preceeding degree in the concerned branch. Minimum 3 years post Ph.D. expeirnce is also required alongwith a good academic record throughout.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

An application fee of Rs. 100 is need to be sent by interested candidates in the form of a Demand Draft alongwith the completely filled in application form. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology, Indore payable at Indore. However, the fee is to be paid by General and OBC candidates only as candidates falling under SC/ST/PH categories, are exempted from the payment of this application fee.
