Dr.B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established in the year 1987 as a Institute of National Importance. Mr. S. B. S. Mishra is the director of the institute. The institute has an urban campus located on Amritsar G. T. Road Bye Pass spreaded in an area of 160 acres. There are approximatley three thousand students studying in the institute. The institute came into existence as a leading premier autonomous university. The institute is one of the youngest of the twenty NITs of India. Initially the institute was formed with the name of Punjab Regional Engineering College.

Job Profile:

Dr.B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology is going to recruit eligible and qualified candidates on the vacant positions of Assistant Professor purely on contrcat basis. Eligibility:

Candidates are required to possess the age less than the prescribed maximum age limit or else they will not be considered eligible for the post. Relaxation will be provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Interested candidates should possess the prescribed minimum educational qualification i.e. M.Tech or M.Phil or MBA with minimum 60% marks in aggregate at the Bachelor’s degree level in the concerned discipline. Candidates should have the prescribed qualification in the disciplines of Instrumentation & Control Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering or Industrial & Production Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering or Textile Technology or Chemical Engineering or Bio Technology or Physics or Mathematics or Hum. & Management or Chemistry. However, candidates with Ph.D. degree will get preference over other candidates.
