Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) was established on October 30, 1972 under the provision of Article 315 of the Constitution of India by the Government of India. The provision for constitution of Public Service Commission was first introduced under Article 96C of the Government of India Act, 1919. Tripura got her statehood in the year 1972 and just after this achievement, Tripura Public Service Commission was established in the same year. Shri G. P. Bagchi was the first Chairman of the Tripura Public Service Commission.

Job Profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Assistant Professors in the Government Degree Colleges in which the selection will be made through the conduct of a competitive examination organized by Tripura Public Service Commission.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not have age more than 45 years for applying for the post of Assistant Professor.

Educational Qualification:

Interested candidates are required to have attained the minimum educational qualification needed for applying for the above specified post.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6000

Selection Process:

Candidates will have to qualify in the written examination and the personal interview session for getting themselves selected for the above specified post.
