Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) was established as an attached office under the Planning Commission. The primary role of UIDAI is to develop and implement the necessary institutional, technical and legal infrastructure to issue unique identity numbers to Indian residents.

The unique identification number issued by UIDAI can be verified and authenticated through online in cost-effective manner so as eliminate duplicate and fake identities. The headquarters of UIDAI is located in Delhi. The Chairman of UIDAI is Shri Nandan Nilekani and its Director General and Mission Director is Shri R.S. Sharma.

Job Profile:

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Assistants on deputation.

No. of posts: 26

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade pay of Rs. 4200

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit for all the posts is 18 yrs, and the maximum age limit is 27 yrs. (Relaxable as per rules)

Educational Qualification and experience – The candidates holding analogous post in the same scale of pay or those having four years experience in the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200+ GP of Rs. 2400 are eligible to apply for the post. The candidates must have excellent drafting & typing skills, and proficiency in computers. They must have experience in handling Administrative matters or budget/ policy matters or implementation of Government schemes.

The candidates are selected for the post through interview.
