B.A Hons In Hindi Journalism
A number of colleges across India are offering a Bachelors degree with Honors in Hindi Journalism. It is a great impetus to those aspiring to pursue the same. An Honors degree is a value addition to the prevalent degree thus enriching the student’s qualification.
Eligibility Criteria
The admission to the course is made on the basis of marks secured in the 10 + 2 examination or through an entrance test. You need at least 55% in 10 + 2 to be eligible. You also have to be above 16 or 17 to pursue the same.
Course outlook
It is a three-year undergraduate course which prepares a student in Hindi Journalism, Writing in Hindi and mass communication. The three years are further divided into six semesters which includes book reviewing, content writing for newspapers and magazines, etc. The aim is to produce one’s own body of work by the end of the course. The course is imparted by experienced professionals in the field of media and journalism.
Job Prospectus
After the successful completion of this course, the student can either opt for post graduation in the same field or work with newspaper or magazine or publishing house. The gates of print media, online media or electronic media are always open to a fresh graduate as Hindi journalist. Freelancing is yet another bright option at your disposal after completing the undergraduate course.
