BCA from IGNOU
The Bachelor program of Computer Applications is suitable for those who are interested in entering into the field of Computing or Information Technology. This course will help the students in gaining basic knowledge in this field. This is more an entry level course. They will have the option to go for Master’s course or to go in for entry level job in the industry.
Eligibility Criteria for the BCA course in IGNOU
IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) that has it’s headquarter in New Delhi. There are many criteria to be fulfilled by an individual candidate before appearing for the final admission in this University. Mathematics should have been one of the subjects pursued during Higher Secondary level. If in case mathematics was not one of the subjects studied then they will have study two additional subjects during the first semester. The courses to be studied are MTE-03 and CIC. Candidates of any age can pursue the course.
Distinct Teaching Method for BCA course in IGNOU
The course is well structured to suit the student’s needs. The distinct features of the course are as follows:
- A total of six semesters
- Duration of each semester ranges between five to six months
- Credit is assigned to each subject varies
- Total of 39 courses
- Total of 99 credits for the course
Duration of the BCA course in IGNOU
The candidates will take a minimum of three years to complete the course. They have a maximum of six years to complete the course. Incase they are unable to complete it in the required time frame i.e. after six years they will need to pay additional fees.
Admission Procedure for the BCA course in IGNOU
The admission normally begins in the July. The course fees currently Rs. 27000/- with the cost of Rs. 4500/- for each semester. This could change over a period of time. It is a must that the candidates submit all the required documents at the time of admission. If any documents are found missing the application will be rejected. The admission procedures are stringent so that only the best out of the applicants are selected.

DEAR SIR, I want to do BCA from IGNOU. I was leaved my education after finishing 10+2 in 2005 from U.P Board. there was some problem in my family thats why I took that decision . Now I am a graphic designer but I am not satisfy with my carrier I want to resume my education .
