Bhagwan Mahaveer Institute of Engineering & Technology shortly called as BMIET was established in the year 1999 with the objective of creating excellence in the technical education field. Eligibility for admission:

B. Tech:

Candidates who have completed their higher secondary examination from an approved institution/university with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects and with any one of biology, computer science, bio-technology and chemistry are eligible for admission to the B. Tech course offered by the institution. Candidates who have completed their diploma in engineering from an institution approved by Board of Technical Education of Haryana or any other board with not less than 50% of marks are eligible for admission to the second year of B. Tech course in the respective discipline.

B.B.A & B.C.A:

For admission to the bachelor degree in business administration & computer application courses offered by the institution, candidates must have completed their higher secondary examination from a recognized board with not less than 50% of marks (pass mark for SC/ST candidates) for BBA alone.

M.B.A:

For M.B.A course admission, candidates must have completed their UG/PG in any discipline from an institution approved by Maharishi Dayanand University/CA/ICWAI.

M. Tech admission:

In the process of admitting students to the M. Tech course, the institute gives first preference to the students with B. Tech in Electronics/Electronics & Telecom/Electronics & communication Engineering. Second preference is given to candidates with any other technology/engineering graduation and third preference to candidates with Master of Science in physics with specialization in electronics & M. Sc in electronics.
