This is an entrance exam which is mainly conducted for the admission for the course of hotel management in Bharati Vidyapeeth University. The courses offered are BHMCT, B.Sc (Hotel management) etc. The selection will be on the basis of merit. The candidates will be generally selected on the basis of their score in the entrance examination.

Structure of the Bharati Vidyapeeth University Hotel Management Test

The structure of the entrance exam mainly consists of objective type questions. The candidates will have to choose from any of the four given options from the questions. There will be a total of 200 questions in this exam. For each correct answer one mark will be awarded. If the candidate marks multiple choices for a single question, it will not be considered for evaluation. The candidates will be given zero marks for those questions which are unanswered.  There will not be any negative marking for this test.  The duration of the test is about 3 hours. The pattern of the test and the distribution of marks are as follows–

Eligibility criteria

The candidates should be an Indian citizen. The minimum eligibility criterion for attending this exam is a 12th class. This should be secured from a recognized university or institute by the government. The candidates should also have studied English as a compulsory subject. The candidates should also have secured at least 50% of marks in the 12th class. There will be relaxations in case of the percentage of marks for the reserved categories of 5%. The age limit of the candidates should not be below 17 years of age.

How to Apply?

The candidates can get the application forms from the office of the concerned University by depositing the required amount of fees. The candidates should take a demand draft of Rs 500 ( Rs 600 by post)  from any nationalized bank as Demand draft as part of application fees. The candidates should take the demand draft in favor of the Registrar, Bharathi Vidyapeeth University which should be payable at Pune. It is required for the candidates to fill in the application forms in detail and submit it to the office of the Bharathi Vidyapeeth University, LBS Marg, Pune.

The candidates can submit the application forms either directly or through post or courier. It is mandatory for the candidates to submit the application forms only after carefully filling in the same. The candidates who are submitting the application forms with out the specified amount of application fees will be rejected.

The candidates should fill in all the important information in the application form. The candidates should fill the application as per the instruction given in the application form. This will help the candidates to minimize the mistakes. If there is any mistake in the application form, it will be rejected.

The names of the candidates who qualify the entrance examination will be published in the official website of the Bharathi Vidyapeeth University. The candidates can also look for the entrance results in the notice board of the college under the examination department. The college will provide separate lists in case of the candidates belonging to the general category as well as the reserved category students.

Score Validity

The entrance score is valid for one year.
