Bhoramdeo College of Agriculture was established by the Bhoramdeo Education & Welfare Society, whose main aim is to attain all round socio-economic well-being and welfare of farming community through rural development and agricultural education. The college offers agricultural course with affiliation from the Indira Gandhi Agricultural University located in the city of Raipur.

Course Details:

Bhoramdeo College of Agriculture offers Bachelor of Science in Agriculture course, the course extends to a period of 8 semesters, and the maximum duration is 14 semesters including RAWE.

Admission Procedure:

Admission of students to the Bachelor’s degree course in Agriculture shall be made in according with the merit and in accordance with the procedures and policies laid down by the affiliating university from time to time.

Minimum mark requirement:

Minimum marks required for admission is 50% of marks in the higher secondary examination for general category candidates and 40% of marks for candidates falling under SC/ST category. Some percentage of seats are reserved for NRI candidates and for these candidates minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 50%.

Eligibility requirements

For applying to the B. Sc Agriculture course offered by the Bhoramdeo College, candidates must have attained 17 years of age as on the 31st of December of the year in which they are applying. They must have studied 10+2 with mathematics/biology, chemistry, physics, agriculture, English/Hindi subjects to apply for the B. Sc Agriculture course. The college permits transfer and migration of students according to the norms laid down by the VCI from time to time.

College library:

Library at the Bhoramdeo College of Agriculture has an approximate collection of 4000 books in addition to encyclopedias, thesaurus and dictionaries. Keeping in view the fast changes in technology, the knowledge base of the library is updated regularly by adding new literature in the form of reference books and textbooks.
