The course of Food Preservation offers several food preservation technologies and involves different ways and manners as well as mechanism through which the process of food preservation can be achieved. The course also covers the impost of microbiological parameters along with heat treatment that allows for a great deal of study in the food preservation technology.

Eligibility Criterion:

The basic eligibility criterion of the course can be defined in the following points. The candidates have to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in the 10+2 level. The candidates have to be at a minimum age of sixteen and a half years as on the date of the admission. For undertaking admission in the above cases, in most of the Institute, the candidates have to be a citizen of India.

Course Duration:

The total duration of the course is exactly three year with the course divided equally in three paper. The duration f each paper is one year and compromises of several subjects. The candidates have to essentially pass all the papers before getting placed in the next year.
