Established in 1968, Calicut University has been a driving force in providing education to five districts of Kerala. Computer Organization & architecture is in the syllabi of 4th semester Electronics 7 Communication Engineering.

Division of Paper:

Computer organization & Architecture is an important subject from the view of a electronics engineer, as it gives him the understanding of the complex circuitry of a computer. The paper is of 3 hours duration and contains a maximum of 100 marks. The whole paper is divided into two sections- the first section contains 40 marks while the second contains 60 marks.

Paper pattern & marking Scheme:

Section A of this paper has 8 questions. All of these questions are compulsory. These questions are short answer type and are considered to be very scoring. Each question in this section contains 5 marks each. On the contrary, section B contains explanative type questions. This section has 4 questions, all of which comes with a choice. Each question carries 15 marks each and is further subdivided into 2-3 smaller sub questions.
