CBSE Class X Social Sciences Papers
To suit the needs of students throughout the country the Central Board of Secondary Education was established with the aim to provide the students with an even curriculum. The fact whether the students studies in a government school or a private one does not in any way affect the curriculum. The academic privileges of the board are independent of the geographical variations.
The pattern of CBSE Class X Social Science Exam is given below:
Social science is a scoring subject in CBSE. Thorough study of the subject and good amount of practice is all you need to get good marks. The exam is of three hours time duration and the maximum marks for the same are 80. The paper consists of 29 questions altogether and all these questions are compulsory. The first 10 questions carry one mark each and they can be answered from one word to a maximum of single sentence.
Question numbers 11 to 18 carry three marks each and they are to be answered in a maximum of 80 words.
Question numbers 19 to 28 carry four marks each and they are to be answered in a maximum of 100 words.
Question number 29 is map pointing. The map is to be attached within the answer script.
