Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University is one of the well known academic establishments in the country. There are a number of institutes and colleges are under the Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University and Educational and Charitable trust including the technical, Medical, Dental colleges. Every year Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University carries out the common entrance examination for the BDS aspirants. The qualified candidates of the common entrance examination will get admission into the constitute institute of the university, Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Science, Pondichery.

Structure of CETIGIDS Test

The BDS entrance test carries 2 different papers including four subjects. The duration of CETIGIDS is 120 minute. The question paper is of multiple choice objective natures.  From the total score one point will subtracted for each wrong response.

Eligibility Criteria

The basic qualification required is the 50% marks in the plus two. The candidates belonging to the reservation category require only 40% marks in the final examination. The aspirants appearing for the final examination can also take part in the CETIGIDS BDS entrance test.  They must study PCB as a subject at the plus two level from the recognized board. The lower age limit is 17 and there isn’t any upper age bar.

How to Apply?

The aspirants can download the CETIGIDS application from the official website of Sri Balaji University website or from the IGIDS site. It is also obtained from the University admission office by the cash payment Rs.650/. The application can get through mail by sending the request for application form to the given address.

How to fill the Form?

The applicants need to be very cautious while filling the application form. They have to follow the directions given in the information manual. The manual along with the form describe the do’s and do not’s of filling the form. After reading the guidelines the candidates can start filling the form. Fill every necessary column with the valid information and place the photo and signature on the precise column. The form should arrive at the admission committee with the necessary document before the closing time.

Score Validity

The score will be valid only for the current academic admission period and normally is considered to be one year.
