Narmada Hydroelectric Development Corporation Limited (NHDC) was established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and NHPC on August 1, 2000. The corporation is responsible for the development and generation of Hydropower in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The coporation has also entered into the fields of conventional and non conventional energy sources such as Thermal and wind. The corporate office of the company is located at Bhopal. Company completed the two projects, Construction of Indira Sagar Project and Omkareshwar Project ahead of schedule in the year 2004-2005 and 2007 respectively.
