Haryana Public Service Commission was established under the Government of India with the aim of serving the needs of state. The major objective of the commission is to make recruitment on the high level post in Government offices in the state of Haryana. The recruitment of the candidates is made through the conduct of the competitive written examination by Haryana Public Service Commission. The commission is consist of one Chairman and 12 other members. Lt. Geneal (Retd.) Dr. D. P. Vats is the current chairman of the commission.

Job Profile:

Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in the Haryana Civil Service (Judicial Branch). Haryana Public Service Commission will be conducting a Haryana Civil Service (H.C.S) (Judicial Branch) Examination, 2011. Candidates should ensure their eligibility before applying for the specified post.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates must be a citizen of India, citizen of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, a Tibetan Refugee etc. Candidates must have age more than 21 years as on 20 July 2011. THe upper age limit set for the post of Civil Judge is 40 years as on 20 July 2011. Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/OBC categories of Haryana region only. Upper age limit is also relaxable for ex-military person.

Educational Qualification:

Degree in Bachelor of Laws from a recognized institute or university established by the law and approved by the Bar Council of India, is the minimum educational qualification required for applying for the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in the Haryana Civil Service (Judicial Branch). Candidates having qualification less than the prescribed one, will not be considered eligible for being appointed on the position of Civil Judge (Junior Division).

No. of posts: Total 80 posts are available.

General category candidates: Only 40 posts are available.
SC category candidates: Only 20 posts are available.
Backward category candidates: Only 7 posts are available.
Ex-Serviceman category candidates: Only 7 posts are available.
Physical Handicapped category candidates: Only 6 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Candidates will be given the consolidated salary of Rs. 27700-44770 per month.

on the payment of an application fee i.e. Rs. 1000 (for SC/ST candidates of all states), Rs. 250 (for SC/ST/BC/ESM/PH/Women candidates of Haryana only). The payment of this application fee must be done through the means of a IPO or Bank Draft payable to Secretary HPSC at Panchkula.

How to apply: Application form complete in all respect alongwith a self addressed envelope of size 24*11 cm size with Rs. 50 for registered post. Filled in application form is need to be sent to the below mentioned address on or before the last date:
