Abbreviated as RPSC, Rajasthan Public Service Commission came into existence in the year 1949 and it is responsible for conducting recruitment examinations for appointment of candidates to different government job vacancies in the state of Rajasthan as in the case of other state public service commissions. Among the different examinations conducted by the commission, Rajasthan Judicial Service Examination is an examination conducted for recruitment of lawyers.

Rajasthan Public Service Commission has invited applications from eligible candidates for the position of Civil Judge (Junior Division) and the recruitment is going to be conducted through Rajasthan Judicial Service Examination.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: Candidates must be graduates in the field of law and they should possess knowledge of Hindi in Devanagiri script.

Age: Candidates must be between the age group of 23 and 35 years of age as on the 1st of January 2012. Upper age relaxation is applicable as per the rules of Rajasthan Public Service Commission.

Selection Procedure:

The competitive examination for selection of candidates to the position of Civil Judge (Junior Division) to serve for the Rajasthan Judicial Services will be conducted in two stages namely preliminary examination and main examination. Candidates getting through the preliminary examination will be called for main examination, which will be followed by interview for the succeeding candidates. Cost of Application:

Application fee is Rs.250 for creamy layer of the OBC category and general category candidates and Rs.150 for non-creamy layer OBC candidates, which is Rs.50 for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. Apart from this Rs.40 is applicable for online application submission charges.
