New Delhi Municipal Council is a municipal corporation governed by a council. The chairperson of the governing council is appointd by the Central Government only. The area under the administration of New Delhi Municipal Council is referred as NDMC area. Mr. Parimal Rai is the present Chairperson of the council. The state of delhi is mainly divided into three parts i.e. Delhi Municpal Corporation, Delhi Cantonment Board and New Delhi Municipal Council. Initially, the council was founded in the year 1913 with the name of Imperial Delhi Committee. But later in the year 1994, it got its present name i.e. New Delhi Municipal Council.

Job Profile:

Eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the vacant posts of Clerical Assistant in New Delhi Municipal Council. Selected candidates will be recruited purely on contract basis for a period of minimum six months. The period of contract may get extended as per the performance of candidates or the requirement of council.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates must be a Citizen of India. Candidates, who are not citizen of India in any manner, are not required to apply for the post. Candidates must also strictly follow the age criteria as specified below for being eligible for applying for the post of Clerical Assistant in New Delhi Municipal Council.

The minimum age limit set for the post of Clerical Assistant is 18 years.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Clerical Assistant is 27 years.

Reserved categories candidates (Scheuled Caste/ Scheuled Tribes/ Other Backward Classes etc) may get relaxation of few years in the maximum age limit as per the rules and regulations of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

The minimum educational qualification set for the post of Clerical Assistant is Senior Secondary from a recognized board or university. Candidates must also have speed of minimum 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi in Computers typing. Candidates having qualification less than the prescribed one will not be considered eligible for the post.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated salary of Rs. 11803 per month.

No application fee is need to be paid by the interested candidates for applying in New Delhi Municipal Council for the post of Clerical Assistant.

Selection Process:

The final selection of best suitable candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the Personal Interview Test. Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear in the interview test and typing test. Passing in the Typing Test is must for being eligible to appear in interview test. Candidates are advised to prepare well for both the tests.
