Rajasthan State Sports Council is an apex body in the state of Rajasthan with state-level operations for looking after the development of sports activities and for offering coaching to the players of the state. The council was established in the year 1957 by the Government of Rajasthan.

Recruitment by Rajasthan State Sports Council:

Rajasthan State Sports Council has called for applications from eligible candidates for filling up the vacancy of Coach Grade III and here are the details regarding the notification issued in this respect:

Name of the Vacancy: Coach Grade III

Number of Vacancies: 78

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Coach Grade III will be coming under pay band 2 in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800+ GP of Rs.3200

Eligibility requirement:

Essential qualification: Candidates must be diploma holders in Coaching from NS NIS Patiala, Sport Authority of India or from any other recognized Indian or foreign university.

Even candidates with participation in world championship/Asian games/Olympic with certificate course in coaching are also eligible to apply.

Candidates must have participated in Asian Championship/Commonwealth Games with certificate in coaching

Candidates must be Senior National Medalist with Graduation

Desirable qualification: Candidates with knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture will be given preference.

Age requirement:

As on the 1st of January 2013, candidates must be between the age group of 18 and 35 years of age.

Selection:

Candidates meeting the eligibility requirement will be invited for practical demonstrations, interview and physical fitness test at the place to be intimated later. Selection will be based on merit list prepared by the committee of selectors on the basis of practical demonstration and interview.

Application Fee:

Candidates will have to pay along with their application a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500 in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Secretary, Rajasthan State Sports Council payable at Jaipur. Application fee is waived for women and SC/ST candidates.
