Test of Reasoning

Test of English Language

Test of Numerical Ability

The section of Numerical Ability includes questions on arithmetical computations, data interpretation, and number relationship. The arithmetical ability is measured on whole numbers, decimals, fractions etc. Data interpretation covers questions on statistical data, graphs etc.

Test of Clerical Aptitude

The section of Clerical Aptitude includes questions intended to measure the ability of the candidate to handle the clerical activities of office. The test determines the perceptual accuracy of the candidate. The questions are designed in such a way as to analyze the slight differences existing between sets of data.

Descriptive Paper

This is an optional paper. Certain Banks clerical exams do not have descriptive paper where as some do have questions on the same. This may cover questions on comprehension, and other social issues in the country. The question paper-cum-answer sheet booklet is provided to the candidate. There will be a total of four questions. They have the option to answer in Hindi, English or in the Regional Language.

Question Pattern of Clerical post in Banks Exam

The question pattern for different Banks will be different. The Common pattern includes an objective model test. The time allotted to complete the test is 95 Minutes. The reasoning section includes 50Questions with total of 80 Marks. The later sections of Numerical Ability, Clerical Aptitude and English Language also include 50 questions in each section. The maximum marks for Numerical Ability is 80, Clerical Aptitude - 40 and English Language is 50. The time allotted to complete the Descriptive Paper is 45 Minutes.
