Admission Procedure for B.Tech Programmes

Candidates who have completed higher secondary with Physics and Mathematics are eligible to apply. They should have studied any of these subjects such as Chemistry/ Bio Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology during HSC. Admission to the courses is carried out on the basis of national level entrance exams such as AIEEE/ ISEET. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for State level counseling as per their rankings in the entrance exam. The Counseling/ Interview is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University.

Diploma holders and graduates in science subjects can seek admission to B.Tech programmes through lateral entry. Such candidates are required to obtain a minimum aggregate of 60 % marks in qualifying exam. Admission is done through the counseling process conducted by State counseling Board.

Admission Procedure for Bachelor of Architecture

Those who have passed higher secondary examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject are eligible for this course. They should have secured a minimum of 50 % marks in qualifying exam. Admission to the course is based on scores obtained in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).

Admission Procedure for Bachelor of Pharmacy

Those candidates who have passed higher secondary exam in science stream with 50 % marks (minimum) in aggregate are eligible for admission. Scores obtained in Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination is used for admission.

Admission Procedure for Post Graduate Courses

The Institute considers state level entrance exam such as Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination for admission to MCA. Graduates in any stream who have studied Mathematics in HSC are eligible to apply. Admission to MBA programme is carried out on the basis of MAT score.

Admission to M.Tech Programmes is made on the basis of GATE score. If seats are vacant, non GATE candidates will be given admission on the basis of scores obtained in qualifying exam. Those who have cleared GPAT exam can apply for M.Pharm course in Dehradun Institute of Technology.
