Admission Procedure

Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary course in science stream are eligible to apply for under graduate courses. Those who seek admission to B.Tech courses should have studied subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates seeking admission to Bio technology and Pharmacy courses should have studied Biology as a compulsory subject in HSC. Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in qualifying examination. Admission to the courses is based on scores obtained in UPSEE examination. Those who have completed diploma programs can seek admission to B. Tech programs directly to second year through lateral entry.

Those who have completed graduation in respective or allied subjects can seek admission to M. Tech programs. They should have secured at least 60% marks in qualifying examination. Those belonging to reserved categories require only 55% marks so as to be eligible. Admission to the course is carried out on the basis of GATE scores. The university conducts its own computer based Aptitude test for admission to MBA and MCA programs.
