The Computer Science Semester Paper I is a 75 mark paper to be written in the total time duration of three hours. All the questions in the paper are compulsory and some parts of the questions have to be answered together. There are two sections in the paper. Section A has around five questions to be answered for five marks each. Section B also has five questions to be answered for 10 marks each. There are internal choices given to the candidates within the questions. All the questions have to be answered in a separate answer sheet. There is space provided for rough work in the answer sheet itself.

Make sure to support your long answers with adequate illustrations, written programs, diagrams etc. in order to garner the most mark. There is no negative marking on the paper as it is a subjective type paper. All the questions in the papers will be asked from the portion covered during the course of the semester itself. Make sure to refer to the sample papers posted on the University of Delhi website to get a better idea of the paper in general.
