Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has invited applications for the position of Child Development Project Officer. Selection process is done for recruiting candidates to Women Development and Child Welfare Service. Graduates in subjects of Home Science/ Social Work/ Sociology are eligible to apply. Selection process is done through written test followed by interview.

Eligibility Criteria for APPSC Child Development Project Officer

Bachelor’s degree from any of the recognized Indian Universities is the basic qualification required. Graduation must be obtained in any of the subjects of Home Science, Social Work or Sociology. Age of the candidate must be between 18 and 28 years.

Selection Procedure for APPSC Child Development Project Officer

Recruitment process is conducted through written test and interview. Written exam is conducted as a single paper test comprising of two different sections. First section includes questions on general studies and mental ability. Second section is based on the topics of Home Science/ Social Work/ Sociology. There will be 150 questions in each of these sections to make a total of 300 questions. Total marks for the written test is 450. First section carries 150 marks and second section carries 300 marks. 50 marks are allotted for interview.

Applications for attending the selection process can be forwarded online through the web portal of APPSC. Before submitting applications through online, candidates should pay the application processing fee and examination fee. Application processing fee and examination fee amounts to Rs. 100/- and Rs. 120/- respectively.
