The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik offers Ph.D course in faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy and Allied Health Sciences. Admission to these courses is done on the basis of Ph.D entrance test conducted at the institute. Entrance test, conducted in objective model, comprise questions from topics such as research aptitude & methodology, teaching aptitude, reading comprehension, and logical reasoning. Open/general category candidates need to secure at least 50% marks to qualify the entrance test where as 40% marks is enough for reserved category candidates to qualify.

Eligibility Criteria for MUHS-PET- 2013

Admission to 75% of seats to Ph.D courses are done on the basis of MUHS-PET. Master’s degree in the concerned subject of health sciences is the eligibility required for attending the entrance test.

Exam Pattern for MUHS-PET- 2013

There will be 100 questions for the entrance test, each carrying 2 marks. Duration for this objective model test is 2 hours. Questions for the test will be asked from the following topics.
