Dr. S. K. Jain is the present Chairman as well as Managing Director of this corporation. The corporation is a renowned public sector undertaking wholly owned by the Union Government. The major function of the corporation is to look out for the generation of nuclear power for electricity. All its operations are performed under the administration of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The corporation is also the only company present in the country which uses nuclear fuel sources.

Selection Process:
