Graduation is the minimum qualification required to apply for Assistant Manager Profile in National Housing Bank (NHB). It is essential to obtain at least 60% marks in the qualifying exam. Apart from this, CA, ICWA qualified candidates can also take part in the recruitment process. Selection of suitable candidates is done through an objective model written examination, GD, and personnel interview.  Topics like reasoning, English Language, quantitative aptitude, and Computer Knowledge will be asked for the objective model written test.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Manager in National Housing Bank

In order to apply for Assistant Manager Post in NHB, candidates need to hold graduate degree in any specific subject discipline from a recognized institute. The graduation course need to be completed by scoring at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST category). Post graduates in any discipline are also eligible to apply for the same provided they secured a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST category) in the qualifying exam. CA or ICWA qualified candidates are also eligible to submit the applications for the same. The higher age limit for this post is 28 years. There is no need of any post qualification experience for this post. On the other hand, candidates having work experience in the related field will get more preference. Also, a working knowledge of computers is also essential for applying for this post.

Selection Procedure for Assistant Manager in National Housing Bank

The selection procedure for this position includes the following sections –

  • Section 1 – Written Exam
  • Section 2 –Group Discussion
  • Section 3 - Interview

The written exam will include a total of 200 objective type questions to be completed within a total time limit of 2 hours. Following are the main papers to be covered in the written exam –

Paper1 – Reasoning

Paper 3 – Quantitative Aptitude

It is essential to qualify written exam to attend other important selection procedures. On the basis of marks secured in written exam, candidates will be called for Group Discussion round.
