Indian Bank has invited applications for the post of Specialist Officer in various departments. Recruitment is carried out on the basis of interview. Experienced professionals are only eligible to apply. Below mentioned is the job positions and required eligibility criterion. 
Eligibility Criterion
Candidates who possess the following educational qualifications are eligible to apply for the following posts.

Assistant General Manager (Treasury):
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University is the minimum educational qualification for this post. In addition to this, those who have professional qualification will be given special preference. Aspirants should have professional experience of a minimum of 10 years in treasury operations any private sector or public sector organizations such as financial institutions and Forex dealings. Candidates should have proficient knowledge and experience in Trading, Treasury products and options, interest rates and derivatives,

Those who have worked in the rank of Chief Manager in any Public Sector Banks or other public sector organizations will be given additional preference.

Assistant General Manager (Accounts/ Taxation):
Those who have completed Chartered Accountant course are only eligible to apply for this post. They should have professional experience of a minimum of 10 years in Accounting or Taxation in Public/ Private or foreign banks. Aspirants having professional experience in Public Sector banks will be given special preference.

Assistant General Manager (Human Resources):

Candidates who have completed Post Graduation Degree or Diploma in any of the following subjects are eligible to apply.

  • Personnel Management
  • Industrial Relations
  • Human Resource Development
  • Social Work
  • Labor Law
  • Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management

In addition to this, those who have completed graduation in Law will be given special preference.
Candidates are required to have professional experience of a minimum of 10 years in Human Resources Management in any private as well as public sector organization.

Chief Manager (Credit):

Candidates who have completed CA/CFA/ post graduate degree or diploma in Management Subjects are eligible to apply for this post. They should have professional experience of a minimum of 8 years as credit officer or administration of corporate credit. They should have proficient knowledge of credit appraisal. Professional experience in middle level management in Private/ Public or foreign banks will be calculated as additional qualification.
Chief Manager (Planning/Budget):
Post Graduation in Economics or Econometrics and MBA with specialization in Finance is the educational qualification. Candidates should have professional experience of a minimum of 8 years in respective areas such as Corporate Planning/ Development in Public Sector Banks or in interpreting market trends / policy formulation.
Chief Manager (Risk Management):
Those who have completed Master of Business Administration with specialization in Finance are eligible to apply. They should have studies Risk Management as a compulsory subject and a minimum of 8 years professional experience in banking sector.
Chief Manger (Chartered Accountant):
Graduates who have passed the final examination of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India are eligible to apply. They are required to have professional experience of a minimum of 5 years in Accounting/ Taxation or Auditing. Candidates should have working knowledge in computer accounting packages.
