Saurashtra Gramin Bank invites applications for the post of Probationary Officer and Probationary Clerks. Graduates who have cleared Common Written Examination for RRB by IBPS are eligible to apply. Upper age limit is 28 years.

Vacancy Details in Saurashtra Gramin Bank

Recruitment to the post of probationary clerk as well as probationary officer on the basis of scores obtained in common examination conducted by IBPS. The total number of vacancies in officer post is 50. The bank may change the number of vacancies as per its requirement in final stage of recruitment process. Total number of clerical posts in the bank is 63.

Eligibility Criterion

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for this post. Graduation or post graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university is the educational qualification for the post of Probationary officer. There is no minimum mark for those who are applying for clerical post. Candidates should have obtained graduation on a regular basis. Apart from this they should have cleared the Common Written Examination (CWE) for RRB, conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The minimum mark secured in CWE so as to be qualified for officer post is 103. Apart from this candidates should have secured a minimum of 19 marks for each section. Candidates who are belonging to reserved categories require 97 marks so as to be eligible. The minimum mark for such candidates is 17 for each paper. Minimum cut off marks required for applying clerical cadre is 95.

Candidates should have good knowledge of computers. They should be proficient in any of the regional languages of the state which they apply. Minimum age limit for clerical post for officer post is 18 years. Upper age limit for both posts is 28 years. Candidates who are belonging to Scheduled caste and Scheduled tribe are eligible for relaxation in upper age limit up to 5 years. Those who belong to Other Backward Class and Ex Service men can enjoy relaxation up to 3 years in upper age limit. Such candidates are required to produce the originals of supporting documents at the time of interview.

Selection Procedure

Eligible candidates will be short listed for Personal Interview/ Group Discussion as per their scores in Common Written Examination. Those who are applied for officer post will have to take part in Group discussion prior to personal interview. Recruitment to clerical post is based on the performance in final interview. There will be specific marks for personal interview. Final selection will be based on the composite scores obtained by the candidate in CWE, group discussion and personal interview.
