BEML Limited was formerly known as Bharat Earth Movers Limited. BEML was formed in May 1964. The Company was established as a Public Sector Undertaking for manufacturing Rail Coaches & Spare Parts, Mining & Construction Equipment, Aerospace, Dredger and Defence equipments. At present, 54 percent of total equity of the Company is owned by the Government of India, and the remaining 46 percent is held by Public, Financial Institutions, Foreign Institutional Investors, Banks and Employees. BEML Limited has a turnover of over Rs. 3500 Crores. The company functions under three major Business verticals, namely, Mining & Construction, Defence and Rail & Metro. The company has 9 manufacturing units spread over different locations, namely, Bangalore, Mysore, Palakkad and Tarikere. The Company is equipping with necessary infrastructure for achieving its goals.
Job Profile:
BEML Limited invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Engineer Trainees in its various Manufacturing Units at Mysore, Bangalore, KGF, Palakkad and Marketing Division. The selected candidates must undergo training for a period of one year.
No. of posts: 90
Pay Scale – Basic pay of Rs.16400 pm in the pay scale of Rs. 16400 – 40500 during training period + Dearness Allowance and applicable allowances.
Eligibility:
Age criteria – The upper age limit is 26 yrs as on 16.02.2011
Educational Qualification – The candidates must have done bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automatic/ Production/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication Engineering from UGC/ AICTE University or Institution.
Selection Process:
The selection of the post is through written examination and interview.

THERE WILL BE BACKLOG VACANCIES IF IT IS NOT FLLED,THEN THIS VACANCIES+ PRESENT VACANCIES WILL BE FILLED BY ANOTHER RECRUITMENT.SO WAIT FOR THAT AND PREPARE WELL IN UR SUBJECT MAN
INTERVIEW IS VERY IMPORTANT IN BEML. IN OTHER WORDS, U CAN EVEN GET SELECTED,EVEN THOUGH U HAVE GOT LESS MARKS IN TEST. A GUY KUNDAN SHARMA GOT SELECTED EVEN THOUGH HE WAS THE LAST ACCORDING TO WRITTEN MARKS
SO PERFORMANCE IN INTERVIEW IS AL ABOUT.PREPARE WELL IN TECHNICAL.NO HR QUESTIONS WILL BE THERE
Even though I am selected for ET2011. I am not opting to work in such a disgusting working environment. Especially the Canteen facility??????????/Whow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
BEML will publish the joining date in their website after the medical report submission. We can extend our joining date by requesting them. They told me that it is possible to extent.

The weightage for test -50%
interview- 40%
B Tech marks: 10%
Its quite different frm other PSU’s.So if you wont perform well in the interview,make it confirm that U will never get selected in BEML.Thats frm my experience

I also have attended beml’s interview for assistant engineer.the weightage for interview is 15% and for written test is 85%.So score maximum for written test.Interview doesnt matter all.Just be confident and fluent in english,dats all

Hello All.. BEML ll shortly announce dates as they do lot of filtering before they intimate the exam dates.. Just keep prep and one day u ll get the mail notification for the xam.
