Andhra Pradesh State Remote Sensing Applications Centre (APSRSAC) is an autonomous society functioning under the state government of Andhra Pradesh and the centre is a registered society under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001. The centre is wholly equipped with all latest software and hardware programs needed for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information system in a wide range of disciplines. It is acting as a nodal agency for application of these technologies for inventory and management of resources.

Andhra Pradesh State Remote Sensing Applications Centre has called for online applications from eligible candidates for the position of Field Assistant/Surveyor to work in one of its projects called as Tank Reliant Irrigated Area Development project & Tank Information System and here are the details regarding the notification issued in this respect.

Name of the Vacancy: Field Assistant/Surveyor

Number of Vacancies: 50

Terms of employment: Appointment will be purely on contract basis and the position is purely temporary in nature.

Terms of Reference:

Terms of reference for the position of Field Assistant/Surveyor would be field survey with the help of DGPS/Total Station and any other tasks pertaining to the project.

Educational Qualification and experience:

To apply for the position of Field Assistant/Suveyor, candidates must have completed their Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least one years of experience in surveying with the help of Total Station Instrument. Even candidates with ITI in civil engineering with at least two years of experience in Surveying with the help of Total Station instrument are eligible to apply for the position of Field Assistant/Surveyor.
