Life Insurance Corporation of India was founded in the year 1956 as a largest state owned life insurance company of the country. This government owned corporation has its headquarter located at Mumbai. The corporation has an employee strength of total 1.15 lakh personnel. The corproation has total 8 zonal offices with 113 divisional offics located in different parts of the country. The corporation initially started its business with only 3 offices and a corpus of INR 459 million. The corporation also has a charity organization named LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation.

Job Profile:

Life Insurance Corporation of India (Western Zonal Office) is looking forward to recruit the eligible and qualified candidates on the posts of Financial Service Executives. Only eligible Indian Citizens are invited to apply for the post. Candidates will be recruited in the various divisions of Life Insurance Corporation of India, Western Zonal Office, Mumbai. Selection of candidates will be made purely on contract basis for a period of 3 years.

Eligibility:

Candidates should have age more than 21 years but not more than 35 years. All candidates are required to be within the prescribed age limit set for the post of Financial Service Executives in Life Insurance Corporation of India (Western Zonal Office). Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved categories candidates as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed Graduation in concerned discipline from a recognized university. Candidates, who have done Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Management discipline from a recognized university, will also get preference over others. Candidates are required to have good working working knowledge of English and Hindi language. Candidates must also have knowledge of power point or word or Excel in addition to their academic qualification.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to send a crossed demand draft of requisite amount of application fee alongwith their completed application form. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of LIC of India payable at Divisional Head Quarters. The amount of application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs. 100 only. However, no application fee is required to be paid by the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories. Also, the name of candidate and their date of brith should be written on the back of the Demand Draft.

Selection Process:

Selection of eligible candidates will be made strictly on the basis of the result of Written Examination followed by a Personal Interview Test. Candidates, who qualify in the written test will then have to appear for the personal interview test.
