Life Insurance Corporation of India was established on September 1, 1956 under the Government of India. The headquarters of the corporation is located at Mumbai. Mr. T. S. Vijayan is the current Chairman of the corporation. Mr. D. K. Mehrotra, Thomas Mathew and A. Dasgupta are three Managing Director of the corporation. Life Insurance Corporation of India is one of the largest insurance company in the country with the strength of approximately 1.25 lakhs employees.

Job Profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Financial Service Executives in various divisions of Life Insurance Corporation of India depending on their educational qualification.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than the 35 years of age as on 30 June 2010. Relaxation is available as per government rules.

Educational Qualification:

Graduate from any recognized institute or university is required for applying for the posts of Financial Service Executives in Life Insurance Corporation of India.

No. of posts: Total 87 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary.

Selection process:

Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in the written test followed by a personal interview session.
