I am studying Diploma in Civil Engineering. I am interested in Fashion Designing. Can I join Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Designing after my Diploma?

You are doing diploma in Civil Engineering so you are eligible for B.Tech in Fashion Designing through Lateral Entry exam.

The eligibility qualification for the Lateral Entry exam:-

(i)Passed diploma course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy woth above 60% marks.

(ii)Passed Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Mathematics as a subject with above 60% marks.

Yes, you can study Bachelor's degree course in Fashion Designing after completion of your Diploma in Civil Engineering course. To get admission in Bachelor of Fashion Design course, you need to appear in Lateral Entry examination which is conducted by your respective state entrance examinations board. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in second year of four years Bachelor of Fashion Designing course.

After completion of your Diploma if you wish to opt for this course, you can appear for LEET examination and after having qualified in that examination, you can however, get admission to Bachelor in Fashion Designing course.

As you are going on with diploma in civil engineering your eligible for B.tech in fashion designing by writing a Lateral entry exam.
