Dear Sir/Mam, Kindly tell me about the Eligibility Criteria to join Ph.D in S.V University.

Eligibility Criteria for full-time Ph.D program:-

1- Applicant should hold a Post Graduate degree from Sri Venkateswara University/ equivalent in the concerned subject.

2- Candidate should have a minimum of 55% marks in the concerned PG subject. SC/ST/PH candidates will get 5% relaxation in marks. If the candidate has done any engineering degree, then he/she should have either 1st class in concerned M.Tech or B.Tech.

3- Candidate need to qualify in GATE/ SVU RESET/ APSET/ UGC NET/ ICAR/ CSIR/ any National Entrance exam equivalent to NET or any accredited exam by UGC.

The Eligibility criteria to join Ph.D in S.V University is, you must have a post graduate degree with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.

And For Sc/ST category 50%marks required.

For being eligible, one must have master's degree in relevant subject.
At least 60% marks are required to get eligible for admission.
Those who have completed any National level entrance exam like

SLET
cSIR
UGC
Are exempted from entrance exam but have to go through interview process.

The eligibility to study PhD at S.V University is a candidate must have passed in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Admission selection will be on the basis of performance in the SVURESET (Research Entrance Test) which is conducted by the university.
