VRO Exam Age Eligibility:

For writing the VRO exam, required minimum age limit should be 18 years and maximum age limit should be 34 years and here age relaxation for reserved category candidates a per govt are mention bellow..

5 years for SC/ST candidates,
3 years for OBC candidates.

Age Limit:

TNPSC VAO Exam age limit is different for General and Reserved category candidates.

Candidates,who belongs to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes must have 21 years and the max age limit is 40 years as on 01-07-2012

For General candidates(who did not belongs to above listed caste) must have the minimum age of 21 years and the max age limit is 30 years

Education Qualifications:

1.Must posses S.S.L.C Public Examination or it’s Equivalent Education or Higher education qualifications like Intermediate/Degree.

2.It’s clear that the Minimum Education qualification is S.S.L.C

Qualifying Marks:

In order to get a Job as a VAO in Tamilnadu,need to qualify/get the Cut off marks in TNPSC VAO Exam 2012.The VAO Exam Cut off Marks are 90 out of 300 marks.The selection process is based on the Performance in Exam and Reservations.

• A candidate should have completed their Graduation Degree in any stream.
  
• Age limit between 21-30 years. there is a relaxation available on upper age for OBC and SC/ST categor

‘ VAO exam’ stand for Village Administrative Officer Exam, is conducted by TNPSC ( Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission ) almost every year to select village administrative officers for Tamil Nadu Villages .

Age Limitation

Candidates should attain 21 years age i.e candidate’s age should not be less than 21 years . This is applicable to all the candidates.
Candidates must not attain 40 years age i.e. A forty years candidate can not apply for this post .
Above two rules applicable to the following categories
SC/ SC (Arunthathiyars)
STs

Educational Qualification

Candidate must have the following educational qualification, if he/she is wishing to apply for this exam -

The educational qualification required for this exam is a minimum general educational qualification .i.e.The candidate must have a S.S.L.C pass certificate to apply for this exam .i.e.A 10th pass candidates may apply for this post.

Written Exam Pattern

The written exam scheme for Village Administrative Office exam ( VAO exam ) by TNPSC( Tamilnadu Public Service Commission ) is following -
Written exam will be conducted in two following parts -

1. General Knowledge:-

There will be 100 items in this section and the questions will be of S.S.L.C. Standard . This paper will be set in both languages, English & Tamil .

2. General Tamil/General English:-


It is same of above paper, there will be also 100 items of S.S.L.C. standard . Candidate may choose any language between Tamil & English ( In the application form only, not at the time of exam ).

The complete question paper consist of 200 questions ( 100 + 100 ) carrying total 300 marks ( 150 + 150 ) .You have to complete the whole paper in 3 hours .

You have to attain minimum 90 marks to qualify the test for selection .

This time the notification of this exam will be given in June – July , 2013 by TNPSC.

Here are the important months that you have keep your self alert :-

Exam Dates:-

Date of notification of the advertisement – Yet to be announced ( June – July )

Date of exam - Yet to be announced ( September – October )

Result of exam – ( November – December )

Interview or Counseling for final selection – Yet to be announced.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts the Examination for the Recruitment of Village Administrative Officer.

Age Eligiblity -

For General candidates age should between 21 to 30 years.

And for SC, ST candidates age should between 21 to 40 Year.

Educational Qualification -

And To apply for this examination You must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification. That You must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies OR to College Courses of studies.

So, You must have passed the S.S.L.C Public Examination with Tamil as one of the languages And If you have not passed SSLC Examination or its equivalent are not eligible even if they posses a higher qualification.
