hi,
all mechanical engineers are eligible to apply in IES. Actually , I dont know why student say it IES , because IES means Indian Economical services instead of indian engineering services. However engineering exam is well known as Engineering Services Examination. A mechanical engineering paper consists of : Section 1-Objective Papers General Ability Test (Part A: General English) 2 hours 200 (Part B: General Studies) Mechanical Engineering Paper I 2 hours 200 Mechanical Engineering Paper II 2 hours 200 Section 11-Conventional Papers Mechanical Engineering Paper I 3 hours 200 Mechanical Engineering Paper II 3 hours 200 The completed offline application form must reach the Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, New Delhi-110069 on or before 2nd March, 2010. thanks |
