This is regarding admission to the Post Graduate course, Masters of design in NIFT. I have completed my computer engineering course this year.
I would like to know if i am eligible for this course? I noticed that " Graduation degree from a recognized University in any discipline" is also
a criteria for the same. Also, such applicants must undergo a compulsary 2 month training for . I would like to know if this after gettin the admission
or before? and How is this done?
I would be really grateful and it would be very kind if my doubts could be cleared. As accordingly, i can decide before the last date for applying.Thanks in advance.

you have to undergo a 2 month training after getting the sdmission to NIFT.

Since,you are from engineering branch you will have,to face a very slight problem there,but dont worry you will be able to handle it.

Hi, your qualification is very good and also you can go in NIFT for the master course as you are eligible for this and the two month course you will be provided there after getting there admission.

Yes you are eligible for the course at nift and as you asked the training will be conducted for two months in prior to the course to develop the desired skills for designing since you did not have your bachelor's in design course. So dont worry all the best for your future.

For Master Programmes (M.F.Tech.) Design Space:
Graduation from a recognized University in any design discipline Fashion/ Textiles/ Accessories/ Graphics/Communication) or B.A. (Fine Arts)/B.Sc (Textiles & Clothing) / B.Tech (Textiles) or Design Diploma form NIFT/NID only.

you need to have a graduate degree in fashion/textiles/accessories/graphics/or BA , B.Tech (textiles /clothing )etc
so yes you are eligible

yes you are eligible for masters of design in NIFT.for that you have to give entrance exam and after clearing you can join,there will be two months training and then you will get admission in the NIFT.since you are from engineering background you will have a bit problem but do not worry you can do that.

Yes , you have heard a right thing. If you want to take admission through NIFT then there are two streams left in which you can take admission by having normal graduation degree, and you are having a good graduation.
You can enroll for these two courses for master in fashion technology:-
Master of Fashion Technology (M.F Tech.) in Management
Master of Fashion Technology (M.F Tech.) in Design Space

Yes, you are elligible for Masters in NIFT as they condut entrance exam for it and criteria foe which is only graduation.
so you can appear for these exams and join NIFT Postgraduation.

Yes you are eligible for NIFT.
There will be entrance exam.
Then you can go for 2 months training course.

you will provided the training after completion of your admission
There you will face small problem.That problem can be easily handled.
