in this year i will complete my mechanical engg. course from eiilm university. can i take addmission in b tech from any other institute or can i try a job in railway or any other govt. jobs? pls help

Yes,you will be eligible to take admission in Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering after completing your Diploma in Mechanical Engineering through EIILM University.You will have to apply for Lateral Entry Scheme for taking admission in this course.You will have to apply for state level Engineering common Entrance Test.

Eligibility for Lateral Entry Test :

• Your minimum CGPA in Diploma should be 5 .
• Your age should not be above 25 years.
• Your degree should be approved from the Technical Education Board.

Exam Pattern :

• Physics - 50 Questions.
• Chemistry - 50 Questions.
• Mathematics - 50 Questions.

At present you will complete your Diploma thus you will be eligible to apply for Government jobs as well as in Private Sectors .Jobs in which you can apply for are :-

• Indian Railway (Technical Grade).
• SAIL.
• IOCL.
• State Water Development Board.
• State Level Junior Engineer II .

NOTE :-

For Getting jobs in Government sectors,your minimum age should be 18 years and should not be above 30 years.
